Debt Inheritance by Pepper Winters My rating: 5 of 5 stars 5 dark stars!!!This one was recommendation of Sivy, she said “hope you like dark romances” and truly I'm not so much into them, I mean, I have a lot of those on my to read list, but it takes more time for me to finally decide to actually read it. So I read the blurb, saw the cover and completely imagine how this dark hero would be, so I jumped to read it and have to say, excellent recommendation Sivy, Thanks!Nila Weaver is a fashion designer, sheltered all her life by her father and her brother, she’s shy and inexperienced in the men department, so when her father practically pushes her into the arms of the hot stranger who she assumes is an admirer of her work, she accepts the invitation immediately… little she knows that the stranger has a hidden agenda and his father knew it… “I hated being lied to.I hated even more believing those lies until the truth decided to come for me. Turned out, I was never an individual; I was a possession to trade.I was never unique; someone had lived my life many times before, never free, never whole. My life was never mine.My destiny was already written.My story began the night he came for me.” So the stranger?... yes, he is Jethro Hawk, a sexy man with a dark edge… “I was a hunter. Skilled with both bow and arrow and gun. I stalked the weaker and slit their throats when they succumbed to my careful aim.But sometimes I liked to... miss. I liked to give them a small window of safety, all while closing the noose when they didn't expect it.I liked to play with my food.” And well, as the title mentions, he inherited Nila, to do with her as he pleases, and he does, he likes toying with her, he wants to destroy her, break her, and he really enjoys it. “Destroying my dress wasn’t enough? You had to steal my past too?” I held up a photograph of a half-naked Jethro holding my chin as he kissed me. That wasn’t based on my dateless life, but it was so lifelike, so true, so incontestable. How did they make it so realistic?Jethro shook his head, rolling his eyes. Locking his bike, he pocketed the keys before turning to face me. Dropping to his hunches in front, he whispered, “I not only stole your past. I’ve already stolen your future.” Like I said, I’m not so into dark romances, but I started with this one and couldn’t put it down, the situations Nila was subject to where hard to read at some point but I kept reading to see how the things evolved…The writing is so good, I like books told by dual POV because you get to undertsand the characters better, the only thing is there was not so much explanation about the reason of the debt, only that was something agreed byt the ancestors of both families, but I suppose we'll read it in the next book. It ends with a cliffhanger, but it didn’t left me with the feeling of being annoyed and desperate to read the next one, I mean I definitely want to read the next book, but I’ll wait patiently for it! :D View all my reviews

Her Forbidden Hero by Laura Kaye My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4 broken hero stars This is a sweet love story of two persons who are meant to be together, but need to learn how to fight their demons and insecurities, to trust in each other, in order to be together.We have Marco Vieri, a war hero who has so many demons and feels so broken that he doesn't believe he deserves happiness, so when Alyssa Scott returns home after college and he start to have feelings for his best friend sister, a girl he used to protect from her drunk father, he feels the need to protect her even from himself. All at once, he saw her through new eyes. And what he saw very particularly wasn’t a little girl. Not anymore. She might’ve been small in stature, but between the long chocolate waves of her hair, the way her V-neck shirt shaped over her breasts, and how those damn jeans hugged her, there was no safe place to look and not think woman. And it was a short trip from that thought to wondering how she would feel under his hands, in his arms. He was a man, after all. A man who had been without the pleasure of a woman these long months while he fought tooth and nail to get back to a shadow of his old self. But the beautiful girl, er, woman standing before him wasn't just any woman. She was his best friend’s little sister. Strictly off-limits. That was guy code 101. Sonny gets Iris a job at Pins and Needles, a tattoo parlor, not really her dream job, but she is really trying to see the bright side. The only thing Iris didn't consider was Dexter Locke, her rude new boss with a very short temper, member of the Widowmakers MC and hot and sexy as hell.... "His broad shoulders and thickly veined forearms were more than enough to make a girl stare. Because his face... Jesus, shit. Jesus. Shit.I was going to ask Santa for his good identical twin for Christmas" Iris hear him talking bad of her on the phone, so Iris decides she's going to do her work and give him the cold shoulder treatment (her calling him "The Dick" in her head was funny). I swear to you, after this shit is over, you’re not gonna have to worry about him ever again.” His thumb dug deep into my flesh.I made a noise that sounded like I was dying. “Oh Dex.” “Babe, you’re the sweetest little girl I’ve ever met. Seriously this book had me since the first word. It's a long book, very detailed, but not in a boring way.So, in this book we have a hot biker with a short temper and super possessive of his lady, a super fun and likable heroine who likes to give a piece of her mind to a super hot alpha... what's not to LOVE!Unfortunately there's no news for a second book of this author, I was really hoping to read Sonny's or Trip's story! The Seduction 1 by Roxy Sloane My rating: 5 of 5 stars 5 mind blowing stars!What caught my attention of this book?, first, it was a freebie, then I was attracted to the cover (who doesn't like a sexy cover, right?), then I went and read the blurb and I was game!. A sexy hero who seduces women for a living, a sweet and shy girl who denies to get involved with the beautiful, dark stranger with the very dirty mouth... I shudder (in a good way) every time I he tells something dirty to her, trying to dominate her... since their first encounter. "Be careful." The man winks again. "Or next time, you'll wind up on your hands and knees." He leans in to whisper, just for me. "Exactly where you belong". And these were the most sweet words spoken in the whole book, imagine the wicked things that come out of Vaughn's mouth! *blushing*But of course, there's a hidden agenda, he was hired to seduce her and show proof of that, by whom? well, that's the mystery and we don't get to read it in this book.There's a lot of sexy scenes and mystery to keep you reading until the end, and it's a very short and easy read, the only bad part is, it ends with a cliffhanger!. To me, Lucy was a little bit annoying, so I’m not writing a review; I’m going to quote my favorite Jude moments, I think that’ll be the best way to encourage readers to five this book a chance… First, one of his not so good moments, but still, it’s important to understand the depth of my crush on Jude… “The name’s Jude Ryder, since I know you’re all but salivating like a rabid dog to know, and I don’t do girlfriends, relationships, flowers, or regular phone calls. Bennett 4 heart wrenching stars “That doesn’t sound quite right to me—what choice did I have but to survive?” I had this book on my to read list like forever and finally took the time to read it. Well, with this book I’ve experienced sadness, anger, hope and happiness… it’s a real emotional roller coaster. It reminded me a lot to the feeling I had while reading Reason to Breathe by Rebecca Donovan.Kate is a 17 years old girl that has been suffering abuse at home, physical and emotional, since she was 9 years old. Her father is an alcoholic and her mother has a very strong pill dependency, so her home life hasn’t been the best, ‘cause apart from the abuse, her family is poor. Unfortunately the abuse doesn’t end at home, since she is bullied at school by her classmates. She had a friend at school, Henry, who had feelings for Kate but moved out of town when she was 11 years old, but Henry is back for his senior year and finds a very different Kate, shy, closed off and hiding in the corners to avoid contact with her schoolmates. She even eat her lunch sitting in the corner floor at the cafeteria!.Henry tries to approach her, to be her friend again, but she doesn’t understand why he’s trying so hard to be her friend if this could be a social suicide for him. But well, Henry does have something in mind, because he’s been in love with her since she was 11 years, so he tries to save her, even not knowing all the abuse she suffers at home. “Kate, I’ve loved you for years. I mean, I know twelve-year-olds don’t know what love is, so I guess I should say I’ve really liked you for years. But when I saw you this year, I knew. I knew we should be together. I just didn’t know how hard you were going to make me work to get you to even like me. So, yeah, of course I want you to love me back.” The story is sad and beautiful at the same time, the beautiful parts are all related with Henry and his family, Henry tries to teach Kate how to live without fear at school, how to stand up for herself, even by protecting her and be her knight in shining armor. Honestly the abuse parts were difficult to read, I mean how can people be this way? How can they torture someone just for fun?, unfortunately, as many can say is unbelievable that a person can suffer this much abuse at home or at school, it really can happen, and sometimes reality is even worse.The end was sweet, but I wanted to have more details of their future together, you know have a glimpse at their HEA, but it was good.Overall a great reading, but you need to be prepared for the emotional roller coaster!. This is a short story, part of a series, so there's not and ends to the story, not a cliffhanger either, it's the introduction to the story of Lilly, a woman who works as assistant in a consulting firm in LA, and Connor, a hot and sexy stranger who arrives to her office, on a Friday night, making some demands to her jackass boos.  She thinks she's handsome and super sexy, but way out of his league, besides he's cocky and arrogant.

Suddenly things escalate and they move to more suitable activities for a Friday night...

“You feel that?” he growled – so low it was a whisper, the tickle of air on my skin exciting me even more. I nodded silently, because I couldn’t speak. I didn’t trust myself – I was afraid if I tried to answer, I might start moaning again. Continuously and loudly. “YOU do that to me,” he breathed. “YOU make me hard like that".

The writing style is so good, I really enjoyed Lilly's funny monologues and her movies references.

Wild Man (Dream Man series book 2) by Kristen Ashley

4.5 WILD AND SWEET STARS!!!

Well, what can I say, since I first read The Gambler I became a Kristen Ashley's fan and her books don't dissappoint, so here again I just finished reading Wild Man and I again have to say it was great!...

We met Brock Lucas on Mistery Man, he was the DEA agent working undercover when Gwen was abducted, and now we see him as he really is, showing his true wild colors and as any good alpha male in KA's book  what you find is fan-fucking-tastic, he's a tough guy but takes care of his family and his sons, good through and through.

Then we have Tessa O'hara, who owns a bakery and as her jobline indicate, she's a sweet person to the core, a survivor to his ex husband's abusive actions, so she wasn't looking for a relationship until hot guy, meaning Brock entered her bakery.  Their interaction is great, you have super tough guy, with shy girl, you must think he walks all over her, but as the story develops she shows her attitude and it's fun to read.

“Are you angry with me?” 
“No,” he bit off. “I  was angry with you, seein’ as I fucked my woman for the first fuckin’  time, she made me a promise when my cum was still inside her and then just hours later she reneged on that promise. Now I’m here ‘cause there’s a goddamned for sale sign planted in your front lawn and I walk in here and see you lookin’ like this so, gotta say, babe, I’m not angry. I’m fuckin’  pissed. ”

Add drama, meaning the exes trying to get attention, a loud and crazy loving family, the girls posse, including the crazy Elvira, who we also met on Mistery Man, and you get a great book.  The only reason why I gave it 4.5 stars was because I felt something was missing at the end, in the Epilogue, but then again, that's just me, maybe you'll find differet, but give it a try.

The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders My rating: 5 of 5 stars 5 painfully amazing stars!This book is seriously amazing, painfully so, since I was crying like a baby while reading it, from beginning to end!. I found this one in the recommendation section and the blurb got my attention but it was all the good reviews why I decided to jump and read it and I was seriously not disappointed AT.ALL!The story is about a Theresa, a woman who married Alessandro de Lucci, believing she would be happy with the love of her life. Alessandro de Lucci doesn't like to be told what to do, and since he was told to marry Theresa, he's not happy with it and treat her poorly. After 18 months of marriage and being treated like a doormat, Theresa wants a divorce, but Sandro doesn´t, unless she gives him a child.During the few chapters I was hating Sandro so much that I didn¿t think it could be possible to change my mind about him, but as the story progress you start to understand that both, Theresa and Sandro, where victims of her father manipulative scheme to get something he wants. Finally, things starts to straighten and she starts to see her her in a different way, but she's skeptical and always asking why is he showing interest in her, what his motives are. “All the air suddenly seemed to leave his sails and his shoulders sagged as he dropped to his knees in front of her,bringing his eyes down to the same level as hers."I want to be here with you. Why is that so hard for you to understand?” REALLY?... I still don't understand how he was so stupid some times, I mean after all the humiliations? but well, he was trying hard anyway so a few points to him.The story is so heartfelt, I really loved it and recommend it, if you are in the correct frame of mind to cry a little bit!. Yes, the Mayson brothers are back and this time we get a full view of Nico, in my opinion, the most complicated of the four, but still hot, hot, hot!If you’ve read the first 3 books in the series, then you know everything about the BOOM, right?... well now even Nico, the one who didn’t believe in that story about the Mayson men falling deeply in love at first sight changes his opinion when he meets Sophie, a shy and sweet librarian who doesn’t date because she has some issues with men in general.Despite his effort to convince her to go out with him, Sophie keeps saying no, ‘cause is overwhelmed with Nico’s attention and she’s not sure she wants to pursuit what’s clearly growing between them. “I don’t think it’s fair to explore this thing with him when I’m not even sure who I really am. No man wants to give a woman the power to crush his ego, and baby, I hate to tell you this, because I like that you don’t realize how beautiful you are, but you are the kind of woman that could make a man feel like he has it all or make him feel like he has absolutely nothing.” But not all things sweetness, since there’s someone lurking in the shadows putting in danger their relationship, so the suspense factor makes of this book a better reading.The author follows the same formula as in the other books in the series, a sexy and possessive alpha, a cool and fun heroine, a lot of sexy and hot scenes, some funny moments, and a bit of suspense, so if you liked the previous, then you’ll enjoy this one too.But really the best part of the book is the EPILOGUE, as always is super fun to watch them deal with their kids, but deal with their grown up kids is even better! Leonardo by Melissa Schroeder My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4 hot Santini stars!I liked this one a lot. It’s well written, fast paced and the characters are likable, AND there’s a bunch of hot military men, hell yeah!. First there’s Leonardo Santini, the hero of the story who serves in the army teaching medicine. He’s hot, alpha and totally sweet too, oh and he has 4 brothers who also serve on the army, in different areas and we get to see a bit of them… well actually just one of them, Vincente, but their interaction reminded me a lot of the Mayson brothers from the Until Series… ”Leo looked at his brother. “Go away”. “So rude. Mom’s not going to like that when I tell her”. He smiled at her. “I’m her favorite”. Then he walked away. No, sauntered away. That was the only way she could describe that walk. “He is not mom’s favorite”. Then there’s Maryanne, the heroine, a physical therapist who serves in an army hospital too, since all her brothers and father are in the military too, we see a bit of their interaction too and it was totally fun… "He knocked on the door. He heard some rustling and then the door opened wide. It wasn’t Maryanne. It was a man, as tall as him, with dark hair and a rather pissy look on his face. He had apparently been sleeping. “What?” “Jackson Michael Johnson, is that the way you greet someone at the door?” Maryanne asked from behind the man. Of course, he could only hear her. He couldn’t see her with the massive roadblock in the door. “I was sleeping, MJ” He saw a hand reach up and smack the man on the back of the head. “Damn, MJ, do you have to hit so hard?” He stepped aside. “Do you always cry like a little girl?” she asked.” When Leo and Maryanne meet, he doesn’t like her so much ‘cause she’s though with her patients, but everything is just a cover up, she really is a very thoughtful person but being the little one in a household full of military guys, she learned to hide her soft side. She’s not very used to guys treating her kindly or trying to romance her, so when Leo acts like this, she’s pleasantly surprised and scared, since she knows it will be easy to fall in love with him and she’s scared he will break her heart… “Maryanne?” She looked at him and blinked. “You never call me MJ.” Not really a question, just a statement of fact.“Yeah. You aren’t MJ to me. You’re Maryanne.”She studied him for a second then her gaze softened. A lump rose in his throat that turned out difficult to swallow. She leaned forward to brush her mouth over his, not closing her eyes the entire time. “What was that for?” he asked when she finally pulled back.“For seeing me differently than anyone else does.” A wonderful story to read with sweet and hot moments, and the glimpse of the second book, Marco’s story, looks promising!. Gator by Bijou Hunter My rating: 5 of 5 stars 5 intense stars!!!See, the first thing I need to say about this book is, this is not a typical romance novel, it can'tbe with the 2 principal characters being as damaged as they are, but I did like it. Why?... well, I'm a junkie for books where there's two people figthing to have a chance, to find a happy ending, against all odds, and this book fits the description perfectly.The principal characters live in a world full of darkness, Gator is a contract killer with a very troubled past, and Mia, she's and abused child, her parents were trash and use her for their own benefits. She's part of his next target, but when he sees her through her rifle scope, he sees something in her and he wants to keep her with him. He soon realizes that she's not a normal girl, she's a bit slow understanding things, but he wants her still, even more because he wants to protrect her.In Mia's eyes, he's her savior, her protector and her chance at happiness, she's used to people use her and tell her what to do, but Gator, Jake for her, is different in her eyes, not the troubled man, not a killer, he's her light. She'll do anything to keep him with her. Cradling Mia's face in my hands, I whisper, "Did you forget who you are?" The fear and pain her eyes rip me until I want to rip Vic limb from limb. She nods while tugging gently at my shirt. "What do they call me?" I ask. "Gator." "Does a man like me share his woman?" Mia shakes her head. "I'm yours." "Yes." "I'm sorry I forgot". This story may not be sweet or funny, but like I said, it's intense, full of hope and with two people looking for a chance to be happy, to find redemption and they will fight anything to get it.With a few grammar mistakes, but if you look past those, it's absolutely worth it! I thought we'll read more of Natalie and Steele, but instead most part is written in Liam's or Layla's POV, although the book is still focused in their relationship.There's a lot of dramatic and intense inner dialogues from the characters, but at some point I felt nothing really happened, and some of the things didn't feel realistic (view spoiler)[the pregnancy for once, I thought how did that happen if she swallowed a buch of pills!... First Chance by A.L. Wood My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4 rocking stars!I added this one long time ago and I never had the chance to read it, I guess it got lost among all the other books on my TO READ list, but then I got it for free at Amazon and read it AND I liked it very very much. Maybe I was craving some drama, and this was exactly was I was looking for.The story goes like this; Natalie is a girl who seems like what people call an "uppity bitch" (Steele's words not mine), she seems unapproachable from the outside, but everything is a facade, she's actually very broken on the inside. She lost her parents a few years back and what she's trying to do is go through life without forming any bond that may cause her pain, so she remains unattached, except for her best friend Layla.Then we have Ryan "Steele", the lead singer in "Steele's Army" a very famous rock band. Steele's life wasn't easy either so he's enjoys a lot his rock star lifestyle.When they meet, he's offended by her tough exterior, basically with the fact that she seems unaffected by the band fame. He wants to break her, she tries to be strong and shows no weakness to him.Basically that's the story, but add steamy scenes, great characters and you have an great reading time!My favorite character was Liam, Ryan's best friend who apparently understands Natalie better that even Ryan. Promise Me, Cowboy by C.J. Carmichael My rating: 3 of 5 stars 3 sweet and promising starsSage Carrington was a horse barrel racer when met bull rider and hottie Dawson O’Dell. They had a thing that unfortunately ended with Dawson’s wife caught them in the act. Sage was heartbroken and hated Dawson for lying about his married status. Sage had an accident the next day and decides to leave the rodeo life behind and go back to Marietta, Montana with her family.Five years later Dawson shows up in Marietta to participate in the Copper Mountain Rodeo, with a daughter and he is determined to gain Sage’s trust and love back. “Just so you know what you’re missing” And then he reached for her, pulling her close, putting a hand under her chin and kissing her in a very rough and meaningful way.” The story is short, sweet and simple to read, there’s not many complications in their relationship, although, in most part of the book there was no real relationship between them. I think I missed more interaction between Sage and Dawson, ok more like physical interaction, but definitely a good book, like when you put a piece of meat to cook on a crock pot, it will cook slowly but in the end it’ll be tenderly good. Until Lilly by Aurora Rose Reynolds My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4.5 I.SIMPLY.LOVED.IT! stars “Why can’t I hate you?” Her words are quiet, and I can hardly make them out. I whisper into her ear before kissing her under it, “Because I am your one, too.” *sigh*I was expecting this book since I read the preview of Lilly and Cash's relationship at the end of Until Trevor, so when I knew this was out I had to jump and read it. The story was exactly what I was expecting, so not much of a surprise in there, but I enjoyed so much that my husband kept throwing pillows at me so I stop laughing... ok not my problem that he decided to fall sleep while I read the funniest scene in the book!!!So in this book, we have the same elements that in the previous books, a super HOT dominant alpha, a funny, strong and sweet heroine and a bunch of hot, super sexy scenes and of course there's more in the story line, not a simple romantic story.If you've read Until November and Until Trevor you must be aware that the Mayson brothers fall in love of THE ONE fast and hard, and Cash is not the exception, he fell in love with Lilly but the couldn't be together because Cash had to do what he thought was the right thing, but when they find each other again they can't deny their feelings, even though Lilly is not reluctant.I hated what Lilly has to went through, but I loved the results, their relationship was stronger than ever. I simply enjoyed every detail of this book. The end was a little bit of a shock for me, I mean I knew that twat Jules was crazy but not that much.Anyway, there's a bunch of sweet moments, specially with the kids... “Daddy said that it’s my job as your big brother to take care of you.”“Well, if Mommy and Daddy have another baby,” I feel Cash’s hands squeeze me, “I will be bigger than them,” she says, and I can see her putting her hands on her hips like a total diva.“I will still be bigger.” He sighs like he is annoyed, making me giggle. funny moments... “I don’t know what that is. I don’t have Facebook.” “You don’t have Facebook?” I gasp. “How in the world do you know what’s going on with your friends if you don’t have Facebook?”“I call them and say ‘hey, what’s going on? How are things? Anything new?’”“Oh, yeah, I guess you could do that.” He squeezes my hand and chuckles. ” and SUPER hot moments... “You always say that. ‘I’m going to be pissed.’ When was the last time you were pissed?” I ask. His head tilts, studying me.“I don’t know. A while, why? You trying to piss me off?”“What? No!” I squeal as he leans in, pressing me to the wall behind me.“You have a perfect ass, babe.”“What?” I breathe, feeling goose bumps form across my skin.“I can’t wait to get my hands on it and turn it red, so please, try to piss me off. To be totally honest I'm not a big fan o paranormal books, I mean, aside of the Twilight series I don't have much experience in the genre, so I tried to read this one with an open mind. So why I decided to read this one?... well the first two things that caught my attention were the title and the cover, yep I was like "Alpha AND Boss in the title?, PLUS a hot cover?, COUNT ME IN!"... YES, I have to admit, I'm a hot cover whore *blush*... after that I read the description and I was like "mmm paranormal?" and the I saw that it was a short read so I was like "Let's do this!"So Jake, The Alpha, is Lauren's boss, she's been working for him for a year, she's a hard worker and basically has no life. He's a businessman AND a werewolf, and of course he wants to claim her as his. Ok being honest, I LOVE this concept of claim her, so I was enjoying the book so far. Back to the story, she feels him watching her every time, making her uncomfortable. “What is that guy’s problem?” She muttered to herself. “Why is he always staring, leering even at me?” She ends up stuck with him due to a situation with her car and he ask her to join him for diner as a payment for his help, and basically the dialogue between them gets pretty intense. “Let me feed you and when we finish, if you want to, I’ll take care of your other needs.” WHAT?! At this point I was thinking "This is going to be the fastest mating I've heard about", but again, I have not so much experience in this genre, so I reminded myself to keep an open mind.THEN we get to the juicy part (no pun intended) the sex scenes, which are SUPER HOT!... I mean no wonder he is an Alpha, because he is plain hot and domineering. He pushed her thighs apart and kissed the soft flesh of her inner thighs, she watched him down the length of her body, her fingers knotted in the sheet beneath her. “I want to taste you, I’ve wanted to taste you since the Moment I first saw you.” His blue eyes were intent on hers as his tongue worked slowly from the well of her vagina up to the sensitive bundle of nerves. They reconnect when Deck goes to Gnaw Bone and finds Emme on the street, but she's not the same Emme she used to be, she's different and he finds himself not wanting to fight the attraction he feels to her.Things progress fat between them, although Emme is dating a man involved in Jacob's case. “Before, we had Elsbeth between us. My head was fucked about that, about her, and it took almost a decade to get it unfucked. Lookin’ back, havin’ you back, I now know and I reckon you know, that’s the way it was. She was between us. She knew it too. And she didn’t like it. But it didn’t matter. My head was fucked so I couldn’t see clear of her and not doin’ that, I didn’t see you."I knew my lips had parted. I just have to say what a FANTASTIC book!. Today I'm gonna be like zombie at work but totally worth it.I'm completely in love with Daniel, and well Six is completely funny and their interaction with Holder and Sky is simply fun. I sighed, laughed and cried during the whole book and the twist in the story, well, not gonna spoil anything, but I just didn't see that coming!.It's a short reading, so just go and read it!. Mathewson My rating: 4 of 5 stars 4.5 Funny as Hell Stars!!!I LOVED this book right from the beginning, it's simply HILARIOUS!This is the story of Rory James and Connor O'Neil; they've been enemies since kindergarten, but it's not just a simple rivalry, it's more like they TRULY hate each other and want to ruin each others life. They rivalry is so intense that the whole town have rules for them, not being able to be in the same place at the same time and they're banned from most of the stablishments in town. They end up working together and they want to kill each other, and the process is super funny!.If you read the previous books in the series you're gonna love that Jason and Trevor Bradford appear in this book as well, since they're Rory's cousins and you know the Bradford family is very tight.I don't want to spoil the reading, so I'm not going to post quotes of this book, but like I said, I was laughing from the beginning, so here's how everything started: Twenty-five years earlier........."Rory's a boy's name," the mean little boy who'd pushed her off the swing only seconds earlier, announced as he glared down at her accusingly.Never taking her eyes away from the bully, Rory slowly got up as she wiped dirt off her shirt and jeans. When she finally stood up all the way she was forced to tilt her head back slightly so that she could continue to glare at him the way her older brothers had taught her."It's a girl's name," she said, taking a deep breath and shoving him back.One thing she'd learned, thanks to having five older brothers, was never to let anyone push her around. Kaleb by Nicole Edwards My rating: 3 of 5 stars 2.5-3 starsWhere do I start. First, I was having some issues to keep reading, because for me it was very slow at the beginning, nothing really happened, I didn't feel the thrill of the chase between Kaleb and Zoey, it was like "I want her", "I want him" but they didn't do anything about it. It was a bit frustrating.I have to be honest, once the things started to heat up between them there was some pages worth reading again ;D. There are some menage scenes, which for my tastes are well written.I think I was expecting a little bit of drama, but it never came and to be honest, I still don't know how to feel about Kaleb, I thought he was going to be a sexy, hot, alpha, but I'm not sure if he fits in there.Another thing that I liked is when a book links the story with the next book in the series, and in this one there's a bit of the storyline for next book, Zane and V's story, and I'm hoping that one is going to be a good read.
